I've got my Competent Communicator award!

This is a bit old in the telling, but my Competent Communicator award from Toastmasters came in the mail yesterday, along with two Advanced Communication manuals. I completed my ten speeches at the end of September, but getting my award application in was somewhat delayed, leading to the reception of the award and manuals being about a month later. (On the other hand, two weeks is the shortest time I've seen Toastmasters International ship something this big!)

I look forward to completing my manuals and earning the Advanced Communicator Bronze award. My goal is to have all ten advanced speeches completed, and the application filed, by the end of June. Likewise, I'm still working on my Competent Leader award, with four projects to go. With luck I'll have that completed by March!

I hope to get a photo of me with the award certificate up here in the near future.
