Energize IT was a blast!

So I attended Energize IT today, and did I have a good time! While I didn't really pay attention to the security keynote, and skipped the virtualization one, the rest of the day was great. I got to hang out with other game developers in the GameCamp track, as well as spread the word farther about TIGC.

I always enjoy attending Microsoft events. There's the swag, of course, and the heads-up on interesting stuff coming down the pipeline, but one of the biggest things about these events is the ability to network and meet new people. I'm now anxious for next year's Energize IT, and even more excited about the possibilities for TIGC and the upcoming Toronto XNA Users Group. Now if only I could get a working system again for doing my game development work...
